FIRST – For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology – is excited to be hosting a FIRST North Carolina Regional Tournament for FRC teams from across the country and around the world.  A premiere robotics co-opetition for high school students, over 36 teams will spend three days competing in a ‘varsity sport for the mind’ in the Dorton Arena.  Several thousand students and spectators will be on hand to experience the fun and excitement of science and engineering.  Information at:  www.usfirst.org The FIRST North Carolina Regional Tournament will be held on April 1, 2, 3, 2010 in the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
